Tax Fraud Days of Action are here! MACRC members are out in every corner of our jurisdiction this week raising awareness about tax fraud in the construction industry, which is estimated to cost the US $10 billion annually!
Today members and reps were out in Will County (#Local174), suburban Cook County (#Local58), and the City of Chicago (#Local13). Additionally, members and reps also raised awareness in St. Louis, MO, Southern Illinois, Jefferson City, MO and Topeka, KS.
Stopping tax fraud is an issue of fairness for workers, legitimate contractors and taxpayers at large.
